The Northgate Chamber of Commerce was officially founded, in the winter of 2002, to support and advance the business community. The inspiration primarily came from a local group of business owners that formed a steering committee in the summer of 2000. We are concerned citizens and business owners that have operated businesses in the area as far back as the 1950’s. Our vision: "Strengthening Business & Community through Information & Partnership . BOARD OF DIRECTORS LEADING THE VISION & MISSION 2005 Results & 2006 Preview We support local business and the community in our efforts to serve as a voice and pulse of the Northgate area on such issues as transportation, taxes, crime, community improvement and other issues that affect the business climate of the Northgate Area. Our efforts are focused on bringing together business owners, civic organizations, community organizations and citizens of Northgate for the purpose of enhancing the growth and identity of Northgate. Our membership: The Northgate Chamber includes businesses of all types and sizes, including locally owned one-person operations to large corporations.
