"Take me out to the ballpark, take me out to the game..." Ah, sports. The world in general is fascinated with sports. The U.S. in particular loves the Big 5: baseball, basketball, football, soccer and hockey (there will be a pro hockey season next year, right?).

Seattle has all the Big 5 teams, and more. We have the Sonics, Storm, Seahawks, Mariners, Sounders FC and Thunderbirds for professional sports teams. There are also numerous amateur team and solo sporting activities. We currently have a Golf page; future pages will focus on Seattle non-professional sport/competition activities.

In addition to the aformentioned five varieties of sports, Seattle has tennis, frisbee, roller hockey, lacrosse, and more. And don't forget sports merchandise outlets, sports bars, sports radio, and all the other sports-related activities in town.
